Sidella Jane Brown (née Jordan) November 11, 1911 - May 11, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) BROWN, Sidella Jane - We are saddened by the passing of our dear Sidella at the age of 93 years. Born in Pictou, and a long-time resident of Club Road, Hatchet Lake, she was the daughter of the late George and Laura (Gosbee) Jordan. Sidella will be forever missed by son, Wilfrid; granddaughters, Karen (Mrs. Michael Eld) and Cheryl (Mrs. Derek Collier); great-granddaughter, Emma Collier. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfrid "Brownie"; brothers, George, Garfield, Percy, Ernest; half-sisters, Addie, Jenny, and Hilda; half-brothers, Albert and Wilfrid. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax. At Sidella's request, there will be no visitation or memorial service. In her memory, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
