She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Stokes, parents; Mose and Pauline Higgins; brother, Virgil Higgins; and sisters, Audrey Myers and Vivian Nicholson. She is survived by her family who loved her very much which includes her sons, Danny Stokes and David Stokes; daughter Kim Tolbert (Keith); grandsons, Brad Tolbert (Crystal) and Kevin Tolbert (Terri). Visitation will be Thurs., July 3, at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home, from 1-2 p.m. Graveside services will be Thurs., July 3 at 2:30 p.m. at Midway Cemetery.
