Very active member of Community Care East York, O'Connor Bowl and life member of Kimbourne Park United Church. Born in Toronto, Ontario on March 3, 1932 to her dear late parents William and Suzannah (Trotter) Hipson. Entered into rest at her home on Thursday, November 6, 2008. Shirley, beloved wife of Andrew Smith. Devoted and loving mother of Deborah Cranswick, Donna (Ronald Owens), Ian Smith, Darlene Smith and dear friend Steve Mclntaggart. Proud grandma of Rachel, Matthew, Daryl, Ryan, and Dayna. Dear sister of Leslie Hipson and the late Alfred Hipson. Sadly missed by her furry family dogs Kyla, Riley, Lucy and the cat Samantha. Family and friends may call at the Trull Funeral Home ''East Toronto'' Chapel 1111 Danforth Ave. (one block east of Donlands Subway), on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in Kimbourne Park United Church (200 Wolverleigh Blvd.) on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. (Visitation 1 hour prior to the service). Interment Pine Hills Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Kimbourne Park United Church.
