Shirley Geldart 1942 - 2003 The death of Shirley Geldart, wife of Paul Geldart, of the Homestead Road, Steeves Mountain occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 6th 2003. Born in Stewarton, January 22 1942 she was the daughter of Merle (Kierstead) Smith and the late George Smith. Shirley was a homemaker she also volunteered with the House of Nazareth and Moncton Head Start. She had attended Middlesex Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by her mother, Merle Smith of Moncton, her sons, Douglas (Rhonda) of Toronto, James at home and Jason (Trish) of Moncton; five grandchildren, Amanda, Cody, Brittany, Danielle and Robert. She is also survived by her sister, Eurilla Lounsbury of Petitcodiac; Phyllis Horn (Dick) of Moncton, Mildred Richards (Jackie) of Havelock, Florence Carll of River Glade, Mabel Leaman ofRiples, Kaye Gourley of Moncton, Myrna White (Russell) of Salisbury, Mae Lainey (Lee) of Shediac and Mary Collette (Billy) of Notre Dame; one brother George Smith of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. By request there will not be any visiting hours at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 8th, 2003 at 2 pm in the Middlesex Baptist Church followed by a gathering of family and friends in the church hall. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.fairhavenfh.co
