Mrs. Shirley Mae "Temp" Simpson Johnson, 73, of 1736 Dave Jenkins Road passed away on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Old Hope Station Baptist Church in Fairfield County with the Rev. Barbara McClinton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Chester County on March 30, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Kamellow Simpson Sr. and Lydia Sanders Simpson. She was a member of Old Hope Station Baptist Church and sang on the Gospel Choir. She was a former member of Zion Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
