MOORE _ Shirley "Mavis" (nee MacDonald) of Coquitlam, B.C., passed away on June 2, 2003. Born in New Westminster, B.C., on September 17, 1920, she was the youngest of 15 children. Mavis was a long time resident of the Royal City. Predeceased by her beloved grandson Greg in 1999. She is survived by her son Richard (Ric) and his wife Donna; grandchildren, James and Annie, and her brother Laurence Alwyn MacDonald; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969 - 216th Street, Maple Ridge, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Parkinson's Society. The family wishes to extend a large thank-you to the staff of Lakeshore Care Home, for their many years of loving caring of Mavis.
