MARTIN, Shirley Anne "Sherry" (née Atwell)In hospital on Monday, July 2, 2012 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Lewis Martin. Dear mother of William "Bill", Donald "Don" (and his wife Christina) and Terrence "Terry" (and his wife Audra). Loving and devoted grandmother of Jason, Alexander "Alex", Joseph "Joey", Sarah "Sarah Bell", Kaitlin and Perry, and soon to be great- grandmother to her first great-grandchild that she looked forward to meeting, in August, with great excitement and anticipation. Predeceased by her brother Joseph and sister Patricia. Sherry loved helping others, even during WWII as part of the Canadian Women's Army Corp as an entertainer for the troops and also visiting with them in hospital after the war. Along with raising her family, she also had a fulfilling career as a medical receptionist and enjoyed working with doctors, Paul Parent, Robert Eaton and David Lo. In keeping with Sherry's wishes, donation to Medical Science has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service at this time.
