Homemaker EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest November 22, 2003 at University Hospital, Mrs. Shirley 'Charlene' Johnson, wife of the late Mr. Robert Johnson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Pierce Norman and Rev. Kirk Bozeman officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born in Dearborn, Mich. She was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. Survivors include three daughters, Sherrie Johnson, Evans, Denise Robinson, Aiken, S.C., and Sandy Ivey, Evans; a brother, James Roberts, Dearborn, Mich.; a sister, Josie Campbell, Michigan; six grandchildren, Landon Johnson, Amanda and Holly Robinson, Dexter, Emily and Evan Ivey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Sunday, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Pallbearers are William Flink, Virgil Flink, Richard Barrett, Kevin Wells, Danny Powell and Columbus Jones.
