ATLANTA, GA - Services for Shirley Jean Staples Greer, 61, will be Saturday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m. at the YPCA Camp Ground, Highway 78 West, Lincoln, with Bishop James A. Truss officiating. Burial will be in Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors are mother, Grace Staples of Eastaboga; one son, Lawrence D. Greer of Dallas, Ga.; one sister, Cherilyn S. Willingham of Douglasville, Ga.; four brothers, Roger Staples of Dallas, Ga., Lavon Staples of Commerce, Ga., Blake Watkins Jr. of Southfield, Mich., and Walter S. Curry of Detroit, Mich.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Sims Funeral Service will direct.
