FLEETWOOD Shirley Jean Estes Karr, age 75, of Fleetwood, formerly of Jasper, died Jan. 8, 2013, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Delbert Canterberry officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Estes; her mother, Clara Estes; her brothers, Robert Estes and Johnny Estes; and her sisters, Mary Nell Lane and Betty Howard.Survivors include her husband, Shirley A. “Steve” Karr; her daughters, Katherine Jean Karr, Margaret Kay Karr, and Aimee Denise Karr; her son, Steve William Karr; her sisters, Lettuce Pruitt and Linda Shepherd; her brothers, Jack Estes and Tony Estes; her grandchildren, Kevin Hollingsworth and Cassandra Alexis Karr; and her great-grandson, Spencer Gray Hollingsworth.Shirley was a loving wife for 56 years, and the nurturing mother of four.
