Shirley Jean Cruse-SmithShirley Jean Cruse-Smith, 74, born May 13, 1936 in Springfield, Missouri, passed away April 21, 2011 in St. John's Hospital.Retired from St. John's Hospital in 1996 from position as cook II, Shirley loved fishing, camping, and chatting with all her e-mail pals o line. She was a member of the Iris Society and loved her Iris collection.Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband and house mate, James Simpson; her parents, James and Georgia Cruse; brothers, Jessie Nelson and Junior Cruse; and a granddaughter, Heather Parrot.She is survived by her two daughters, Polly Simpson Bearden; her mate, Karen Shouse and DeLane and her husband Charles Parrott; her three children, Desmay and her husband Chris Clinkingbeard, Charles Parrott III and Christian Phillips; two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Heather Nicole Clinkingbeard; her sisters, June Bowers, Louise Tillis and Elender Roush and brother, William Cruse.Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tues, April 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Bellview Cemetery.
