Jackson, Shirley J. Smith 62, of St. Petersburg, died Aug. 28, 2007, at Edward White Hospital. A native of St. Petersburg and 1962 graduate of Gibbs High School. She worked as a press operator for Pillsbury Cleaners and as a housekeeper at Coral Reef Motel. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Survived by her husband, Oliver Jackson; daughters, Tonya Love and Darlettia Smith; sister, Flossie Middlebrooks; grandchildren, Marquis and Damon Smith. Funeral Service Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007.
