Shirley Norman Davis, 78, of Athens, GA passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late J. Herman Norman and Mamie Treadwell Norman and was preceded in death by the father of her children, George W. "Bill" Fair and her husband, Gene Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hartwell, GA.Survivors include children, Greg Fair of Athens, Randy Fair of Murfreesboro, TN, and Marcia Norris and husband, Steve of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Stacie Norris Brookshire, Mandy Chavez, and Stephanie Compton and great-grandchildren, Esai Chavez, Chandler Brookshire, Gracie Brookshire, Reagan Compton, and Griffin Compton.Graveside services will be held 3PM Tuesday, November 25th at Evergreen Memorial Park.
