Miriam Shirley Rogers Davis, 71, wife of Robert "Eddie" Davis, of 5625 Midway Road, died Monday, June 15, 2009, at her home.Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of Muriel Spearman Rogers of Williamston and the late William Wade Rogers, Sr. She retired from Liberty Life Insurance Company in Greenville and was a lifelong member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and taught Sunday School for over thirty years.In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Donna D. and Marc L. Burroughs of Williamston, Peggy D. and Dan Patterson of Easley; brother and sister-in-law, William "Wade" and Frances Rogers of Williamston; grandchildren, Drew Burroughs and his wife Melissa, Andi Williams and her husband Michael, Nate Patterson, and Ben Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Miriam Williams and Skylar Burroughs.Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009, at Beaverdam Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Huff and the Rev. Jimmie Farmer officiating.
