Sheryl Ellen Miller, 48, Sarasota, died July 17, 2004. She was born Jan. 18, 1956, in Fort Atkinson, Wis., and came to Sarasota 25 years ago from Helenville, Wis. She was an office manager for Churchills Furniture Inc. in Sarasota. She was a Methodist. Survivors include a son, Michael of Goose Creek, S.C.; sisters Cindy Yapp of Chicago and Jeannie Comparetto of Sarasota; a brother, Steve Wafle of Phoenix, Ariz.; her mother, Dorothy McCracken of Ocala; and her grandmother, Joyce Meyer of Fort Atkinson, Wis. Local services were private. A service will be later in Wisconsin. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge.
