Sherry Ann Butler, 53, of Port St. Joe, Fla. passed away at her residence Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 with her family by her side. Ms. Butler was born Aug. 5, 1957 in New London, Conn. daughter of Roy and Ima Jo Crain Marshall. She was a long time employee for the Gulf County Sheriff's Office as a Dispatcher. Sherry loved her family, but had a very soft spot in her heart for animals. We will remember her as a loving person who enjoyed life and its simple pleasures. While she is no longer with us in our daily routine, we will always cherish her memories in our hearts. Survivors other than her parents, Roy and Ima Jo Marshall, include her son, Shawn Butler and his wife, Kelly; two sisters, Terry Royal and her husband, James Kent and Cindy Rich and her husband, Larry; one grandchild, Lyndsey Butler and three step-grandchildren, Skyler, Sloan, and Brieana Bozeman; three nephews, Matthew Rich, Jason Brant and Chris Brant; two nieces, Caitlin Rich and Britney Rich; two great-nieces, Heather and Lauren Brant; one great-nephew, Brandon Brant; several cousins and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of Port St. Joe, Fla. with Minister Andrew Gainer and the Rev. Josh Fidler officiating. A committal service will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5until 7 p.m. (EST) today, Nov. 30, 2010 at the church according to Southerland Family Funeral Home.
