DAVIS, Sheila Ann (nee Rawcliffe) Sheila tragically and unexpectedly left us on December 26, 2005. She leaves to mourn her husband and soul mate of 29 years, Art Davis, her loving mother May Matthews, her sister Evelyn Rawcliffe, her brother Keith Rawcliffe and her sister-in-law Shirley Davis, as well as her step-sisters Peggy Faulds and Susan (Bob) Gill and step-brothers Doug (Vicky) Matthews, Ron (Debbie) Matthews and Bob (Angela) Matthews, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including her special god-daughter Teija Smith. Sheila was born in Victoria, B.C. on January 19, 1953, and grew up in Sidney. She graduated from Claremont High School, and then studied fabric design, obtaining her diploma in Applied Arts and Technology from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. Her skills as a designer and seamstress were prized by her many clients. She particularly loved sharing her sewing skills through teaching. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, B.C.
