COOPER, Sheila March 23, 1944 April 5, 2010 Mom, Grandma, Sister and friend, Sheila passed away peacefully after a few days of resting in hospice. She lived the last years as the happiest of her life, her time being shared between family, traveling, golfing and volunteering. She is remembered by her children Lana, Heath and Blain, her brother Arthur and grandchildren Courtney, Madeline, Lydia and Brodie. She touched the hearts of so many people all of whom will remember her as an energetic caring person with a wonderful sense of humor. Born in North Shields, England, Sheila spread her wings, arriving in Vancouver and then made lifelong friendships on Salt Spring Island where she started her family. Eventually she settled in Victoria and started a wonderful career at Camosun college where she leaves behind a great group of friends. A service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday April 10th, at Camosun College Lansdowne Campus 3100 Foul Bay Road in the Gibson Auditorium, Young Building. Sheila loved flowers, but in lieu please consider a donation in the memory of Sheila to the Victoria Hospice Society 584522
