Sheila (Cummins) Johnson has passed peacefully, with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 12, 1924. Raised in Cornwall, Ontario. She married Richard and made N. Syracuse, NY her home where she raised her children. She retired from Mutual Of New York in Syracuse. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed baking, gardening and especially her pets. For the past six years she lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Canastota, NY. Sheila is predeceased by her husband, Richard; sister Myrtle (Frank) Corr of Loudonville, NY; and brother, George of Cornwall. Sheila is survived by her children, Debora (Steve) and Gary; her granddaughter, Brianna (John Dopkowski) Roberts; son-in-law, Phil; sister, Monica (Clem) McDonald of Long Sault, ON; several nieces and nephews, and many life-long friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse with burial following in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
