Funeral for Sharon L. McKeen will be held today, May 5, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Locke-Godbey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery immediately following.Mrs. McKeen died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at home surrounded by her loving family and coworkers from Hospice of the Valley. Sharon devoted her life for over 35 years to the nursing profession. The last several years she served as a member of Hospice of the Valley, giving love and tender care to not only her patients but family members as well. She served in the Phillipines and Saudi Arabia caring for the sick and needy as a civilian nurse. There is a new bright star in the heavens with her name on it. She was a loving wife and mother. She will be missed, but not forgotten, by family and friends alike. Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bobby” McKeen; daughter, Lynne Orr; granddaughter, Aurora de Quesada; grandson, James Widstrup; and great-grandson, Dean Armando. She truly loved her sons-in-law, Sparlan Orr and Daniel de Quesada. Pallbearers will be Linda Mitchell, Linda Paradise, Carolyn Dobson, Aryn McIntyre, Jennifer Blanchard, Kristin Cox, Rich Thompson, Kim Parker and Connie Landers.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, P.O.
