He received his Master's Degree in Accounting from California State University at Hayward. Scott was employed as a Systems Project Manager in the retail grocery industry. Scott had a passion for building computers for friends and family. He had an eye for color and design, and often helped his wife Becky pick Asian fabrics for quilting. He was a member of the MER-SC-014 Civil Air Patrol (CAP), U.S. Air Force Auxiliary. Scott enjoyed working with the CAP Cyber Team. He was also enthusiastic about his sourdough starter, which he loved to incorporate into tasty waffles, pancakes and breads on weekends. Scott's legacy for his children is that he lived his life for Christ and in Christ. He was a wonderful husband to Becky for 30 years and a loving father to his three children, Eric, Marc and Sally.Scott is also survived by his parents, David and Carolyn of Magalia, CA, and his brother Bryce Anderson (Larraine) of Ashland, OR.The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast, with a Memorial Service following in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Ray Hopkins Senior Center in Mauldin, SC, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, 901 Bellview Rd., Woodruff, SC 29388; or to Grace Church's Allendale ministry, 2801 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
