MITCHELL, Saundra JamersonOf Nashville. Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 3, 2010 following a brief illness at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Saundra was born on June 24, 1940 in Lynchburg, VA to the late John Washington Jamerson and the late Mary Wilson Astin Jamerson. Saundra is survived by two sons, William David Peters of Murfreesboro, TN and Barry Alan Mitchell of Davidson, NC; daughter, Cynthia Lee Mitchell; grandson, Logan McKinley Maffett both of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, William Powell Jamerson and his wife, Patti of Hampton, VA; sisters, Judy Jamerson Payne and her husband Jerry of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Billie Jamerson Sleeper and her husband Dan of Danville, VA, Bettie Jamerson Bray and her husband Kenny of Monroe, VA; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Friday, October 15, 2010 at Trevecca Towers, Lester Avenue at Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville.
