SMITH, Sarah W. On September 19, 2003, Sarah W. Smith of St. Albert passed away at the age of 64 years. Sarah is survived by her loving family; her daughter, Lisa A. Smith,; her son, Stanley John Smith; step-daughters, Pauline (Hugh) Flett, and Sandy (Tom) Oliver; granddaughter, Gabriella Smith; her father, Henry H. Friesen; three sisters, Helen Damer, Annie (Dave) Derksen, and Marie Gardner; three brothers, Henry (Kathy) Friesen, George (Eva) Friesen, and Frank (Tina) Friesen; eleven step-grandchildren; and by numerous other relatives and friends. Sarah was predeceased by her granddaughter, Miranda; her step-son, Ronnie Smith; her mother, Sarah Wiens Friesen; and by her brother, David Friesen. Friends who wish to pay their last respects, may do so at St. Albert Funeral Home, Hwy #2 & St. Vital Avenue, on Monday, September 22, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Youville Home Chapel, 9 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, on Monday, September 22, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Scott Agur officiating. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at the La Crete Christian Fellowship Church, La Crete, Alberta, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the La Crete Cemetery.
