BENNETT Sarah Louise Bennett, age 58, was found entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 10, 2006 in her residence. She was born in Greenville, S.C., on July 23, 1948, to Louise Brown and the late Willie Brown. She had been an area resident for approximately 30 years. In addition to her beloved mother, left to cherish her memory are sisters, Mary Preston (Otis), Charlene Baker, Nancy Brown-Grant and Margaret King (Fred); stepfather, Jessie Cox; other relatives and friends. In addition to her father, husband, Waymond Bennett; and sisters, Willa Collins and Anna Brown predeceased her. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Walters Memorial AME Zion Church, 12 Gregory Street, Bridgeport, with Rev. Keith Newsome officiating. Friends may greet the family at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately following the service in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St., Bridgeport. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson F.H., 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport.
