SARAH K.JACKSON, 94Homemaker LAKELAND - Sarah K. Jackson, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, November 26, 2007 at home, due to respiratory failure. She fought the good fight, she finished the course, she kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). She was born July 10, 1913 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and came to Lakeland in 1940. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Klefeker. She graduated from Miami High School and attended the University of Miami. She earned a bachelor's degree form Stetson University. She was actively involved in children's ministries through Child Evangelism Fellowship and the Children's Bible Mission. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club, Gideon's Auxiliary, and the Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis L. Jackson. She is survived by her son, Otis Lester Jackson and wife, Shirley, Lakeland; 3 daughters, Ruth Ann Weigand and husband, Phillips, Butler, PA, Dr. Martha J. O'Brien and husband, Roger, Lakeland, Corabel Joyner and husband, Bill, Lakeland; grandchildren, Rev. Scott Jackson, Rev. Peter Jackson, Rev. Jeffrey Jackson, David Joyner, Mark Joyner, Elizabeth Anne Joyner, Phillips Wiegand Jr., Sara Lynn Valentine and Benjamin Wiegand; two sisters, Corabel Morgan, Miami, FL, Martha Jayne Brown, Lakeland; and one brother, Phillip Klefeker, Eustis, FL; and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM at Heath Funeral Chapel on Thursday November 29th. A Service of celebration will be held November 30, 2007 at 10 AM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 210 Poppell Drive, Lakeland. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
