<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Apr 26, 1935 - Nov 6, 2014 Sarah Harrington died on Nov 6, 2014 due to complications from pneumonia after a year-long battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her brother, Tommy Head, son Duke Sprinkle, and daughter Amanda Smith, and many loving relatives, friends and neighbors. Born in Eutaw, AL, Sarah lived in Mobile most of her life. She grew up at Wilmer Hall Children's Home and graduated from Murphy, where she was also homecoming queen, class of '53. She worked for Mobile Pulley Works in the '60s-'70s and in 1974 served as president of the D'Iberville Chapter of the American Business Women's Association. A life-long sports fan, Sarah loved watching baseball & Alabama football. She was a voracious reader and loved crossword puzzles. In recent years, she enjoyed practicing Tai Chi at Via!
