Retired Family Planning Agent, Burke Co. Health Department WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Sarah F. Brown, 80, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Medical College of Georgia. She was born in Wray, Ga., on January 9, 1926, to the late Hallie and Geneva Fussell. She had lived in Waynesboro for most of her life, and retired as a Family Planning Agent for the Burke County Health Dept. She was a very active member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Jesse Wayne Drake. She is survived by 2 sons, Timothy E. Brown, of Augusta and David T. Brown, of Waynesboro; daughter, Pamela Jo Dechau, of Spartanburg, S.C.; 2 brothers and 3 sisters, Ralph Fussell, Thomas Fussell, Blanche Daniels, Mary Powell, and Peggy Webb, all of Macon, Ga.; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2006 at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church, with Rev. Keith Alderman officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Blake Dechau, David Thurmond Brown, Andy Brown, Hal Herrington, Eddie Taylor and Freddie Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond Brookins, Kenneth Moses, Michael White, James Johnson, and Wes Lawson.
