MADISON MORGAN, SARAH ELIZABETH (TURNER), 59, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY. She was born June 9, 1949, in Wilmington, OH, the daughter of Ronald O. and Betty M. Turner. She graduated from Wilmington High School, where she was a member of Phi Delta Sigma. In 1971, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She served in the VISTA-Washita Valley Community Action Program in Oklahoma from 1971 to 1973. Sarah was actively involved in many facets of the family business at Morgan Foods Inc. in Austin, IN. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Madison and a Supporting Board Member for the Lide White Memorial Boys and Girls Club of Madison, a lifetime member of the Madison-Jefferson County Humane Society, member of P.E.O., Chautauqua of the Arts and an Advisory Board Member for the Yellowstone Park Foundation. She was also a former board member for the Madison and Jefferson County Community Foundation, Indiana Commission for Women and the Board of Advisors for the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. She was a founding member of Scott County Community Foundation and a member of The Explorers Club in New York City. She was an avid and accomplished photographer, and her love of travel and the mountains and animals of Wyoming were reflected in her photographs. Sarah thought that her greatest accomplishments were her daughter Kelly and her loving marriage to John. She is survived by her husband, John Scott Morgan; her daughter, Kelly McCallister Morgan and her fiancé Tim Maciejak; a brother, Frank Turner and his wife Ellen; and her beloved black labrador retriever, Bella. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 413 East Second Street, Madison. Memorials may be made to the Madison and Jefferson County Community Foundation, Scott County Community Foundation, Jefferson County Humane Society or the Yellowstone Park Foundation, Nina T.
