AUGUSTA, Ga. - Sarah M. Davis was born on May 27, 1926 to the late Henry and Mary Jordan of West Virginia. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Golden Living Centers/Windermere in Augusta, Georgia. She was co-founder and long time member of the former Second Baptist Church in Easton, PA where she was recognized for her loyalty and devotion to her church work. As a resident of Easton, PA for over 48 yrs., where she was employed by Easton Hospital in Medical ICU. She will be most remembered for the love she had for her home on Kleinhans St. and how selflessly she shared it with those she loved welcoming anyone to enjoy one of her special homecooked meals. She leaves to cherish her loving and lasting memories with her companion of over 30 yrs., Willie Smith, Somerset, NJ; her two children: Rita D. Smith (Franklin) Augusta, GA, and Larry D. Davis (Diane), Columbia, SC; her sister, Virginia Wilkins, Easton, PA; her grandchildren, Antoinette Liferidge (Darrell), Columbia, SC, Monica Stephens (Lamont), Charlotte, NC, Larry Davis, Jr. (Tamiya), Bethlehem, PA, Itashia Davis, Columbia, SC; her great grandchildren; Asia Woolley, Jade Woolley, Trinity Davis, Isaiah Davis, Keliah Davis, Columbia, SC, Kyneshia Davis, Leon Stephens, Jr., Charlotte, NC, Aliek Davis, Aliyah Davis, Bethlehem, PA, her great great grandchild: Chiane Woolley, Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
