CARTER, Sarah Elizabeth, 81, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2002 at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. She is survived by her loving family; her daughter, Karen P. Vaughn; two brothers, Adolphus Carter,Jr. and Thomas Carter; two sisters, Maggie Jackson and Ruth Johnson; and her granddaughter, Danielle McKelvey. Ms. Carter moved to Tampa in July from Hempstead, New York where she retired as a pediatric nurse after 28 years for the same hospital. She was baptist and enjoyed cooking for the neighborhood. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Street, Tampa 33609.
