SARAH (VOSS) CARTER1977-2008Sarah (Voss) Carter of Pensacola, FL, lost her courageous battle with cancer on June 2, 2008. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Donald P. Carter; her precious daughter, Madeliene Devin Carter; and her wonderful in-laws, Donald R. Carter and Mary Carter. She is also survived by her father, Gary F. Voss and stepmother, Patricia Mohr-Voss; sisters, Cheri Freedman-Voss and her husband, Maish Freedman, Brittany Mayone, and Harleigh Voss; her brothers, David Voss and his wife, Cherie, and Garrett Voss; her grandmother, Jaqueline Hendrick; and mother, Anna Ray. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Angela and Bernard Voss; and her grandfather; John Hendrick. Sarah was born in Albany, NY on August 18, 1977. She graduated from Guilderland Central High School in 1996. She most recently worked for Gulf Coast Youth Football Association as the league secretary. She loved traveling, spending time at the beach, and shopping for anything Coach; she was known as the 'Coach Queen'. She leaves behind special life long friends, Christina Parisi, Jen Decosmo, Marisa Quinn, and Missy Peterson. Visitation for all friends will be Wednesday, June 4th from 6-7 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, Hwy. 90, Milton, FL. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 5th, at 11 am at Lewis Funeral Home.Special thanks to all of the wonderful friends and family who were by her side, especially her stepmother, Patty, for being by her side every step throughout her courageous battle.
