BROWN, Sarah (Sally) Ann (nee MacDonald) June 3, 1923 - March 26, 2012 Sally Brown of Calgary passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the age of 88 years.Sally was born and raised in Lougheed, AB. She served in the RCAF during WWII. Sally raised her three children across Canada including Ottawa, Kingston, Picton, Whitehorse, Valcartier, Petawawa, Shilo and Calgary. She retired from Woolco in 1991. Sally was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Women's League, an active card player and enjoyed following politics and curling. She will be remembered for warm smiles and embraces, kindness and gentle humour. Sally will be missed by her family and many friends.Sally is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Ken and Wendy Brown; two daughters, Carol Brown and Cindy Brown (Peter Vodak); two granddaughters, Terra Brown and Melissa Brown. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jane and Tommy Cronk, and Flora Duncan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary MacDonald and her siblings, Francis MacDonald, Howard MacDonald, Loreen Carlson, and Mae Williams.Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery at a later date.
