Sarah Ann Shirley Patterson, age 75, of Gainesville passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at her residence following a sudden illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Russell will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.Ms. Patterson was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Flem and Sally Wright Shirley. She was a member of New Holland Baptist Church.
