SARA E. "BILL"DAVIS, 80Adams Packing AUBURNDALE - Sara E. "Bill" Davis, 80, went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2009 at Auburndale Oaks Healthcare Center after an extended illness of COPD and respiratory failure. Mrs. Davis was born February 24, 1929 to George Lee & Cora Bertha (Helms) Ross in Houston County, Alabama. She had lived in Auburndale since 1948, retired from Adams Packing and was a member of the Lena Vista Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons: Johnny Lee (Alva) Davis and Tim (Jennifer) Davis, all of Auburndale; 6 grandchildren: Nashan Lofton, Lance Davis, Meredith Hicks, Ross Davis, Adam Davis and Joey Morici; 3 sisters: Nettie Grace Roberts or Colquitta, Georgia, Eileen Music of Bartow, Mildred Floyd of Blakely, Georgia; 1 brother, Terry Ross of Auburndale; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John H. Davis; grandson, Herb Morici, 2 sisters and five brothers. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009, 3:00PM at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, Florida. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale, FL.
