ALLEN, Sara C., 83, died at home September 6, 2010. Sara was born in Opp,Ala., December 3, 1926, to James Oscar and Susan Irene (Veasey) Chandler. She moved to Boynton Beach, Fla., 47 years ago from Lithia, Fla. Sara was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, James E. (Donna) Allen; daughter Leigh Ann (Floyd) Standley; sisters, Syble Culpepper, Valerie Stepp and Yvonne Jamerson; brothers, Abott Chandler, Venion Chandler, Virgil Chandler and Mack Chandler. Visitation will take place 1-2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Welcome Baptist Church, Welcome Road, Lihtia, Fla.
