->Sandra SteeleMillbrook, NY - Sandra Steele, 66, of Millbrook, NY died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center in Highland, NY. Sandra was born July 10, 1946 in Poughkeepsie the daughter of the late Charles Tacinelli and Vivian A. Lee. Sandra was a model, a teacher, a teller and worked for her family company Tacinelli hardwood flooring. She loved traveling, especially her rides across the country with her beloved husband Robert. She was also a Governess in England for awhile. Sandra was very proud of her work with the walk for hunger project Bread in Boston, and she gave speeches around Massachusetts at colleges. She loved animals, reading and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sandra is survived by her loving husband Robert Lownsdale, her daughter Sheyanne Lownsdale of Millbrook, NY, her two brothers Charles and John Tacinelli, along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 16th from 430 PM-630 PM at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 220 Mill Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Wheelchair entrance is located in the rear of the funeral home on Vassar Street. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, October 17th at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be private.
