STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Mrs. Sandra Marie Chellis Harrington, 44, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Harrington was born April 30, 1961, in Bennington, Vt., the daughter of the late Dana Chellis and Marjorie (Lewis) Chellis Snyder of Statesville. She was a graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School and attended college in Bennington for drama. Sandra was the assistant manager of the Dollar General and had formerly been employed at the Family Dollar and K&W Cafeteria in Statesville. She enjoyed taking care of her mother and spending time with her family.In addition to her mother, Sandra is survived by two daughters, Amanda Harrington of Statesville and Nicolette H. Brown and her husband, Scotty Brown of Harmony; one son, David Lee Moose Jr. of Statesville; one granddaughter, Kelsey May Brown; two sisters, Audrey Davis of Statesville and Victoria Radcliffe and her husband, Bobby Radcliffe of Bennington; two brothers, Dana Chellis and his wife, Paula of Shaftsbury, Vt., and Scott Chellis of Bennington; and close friends, Sharon Barber Burgess, Cindy Myers and Wendy Morse.Mrs. Harrington was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Keith Chellis. Friends are invited to offer their respects to the family at the home of Dana and Paula Chellis on Grove Road in Shaftsbury on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, from 2 p.m.
