NELSON Sandra Lynn We regret the passing of Sandra Lynn Nelson on March 6, 2009 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Brantford, ON, March 9, 1945. She moved to Kamloops, BC in 1956. She is survived by her husband Tucker Nelson, parents Douglas and Francis McConkey, daughters Naomi Klein (Robert), Leigh Ireland (Patrick), son Peter Germscheid (Michelle), grandchildren, Olivia and Liam Ireland, sisters Cheryl Jaquez (Rudy), Cathy Baxter (Warren), brothers Richard McConkey, John McConkey (Louise), Brian McConkey, Brett McConkey (Nancy), step-daughters Angela and Yolanta Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews. Christian Burial Mass will be held at St. Matthew's Catholic Church at noon, followed by a Memorial Service and reception at 1:00pm in the Jubilee hall, both located at 16079 - 88th Ave, Surrey BC, Saturday March 14, 2009. Everyone is welcome to attend either or both. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made in her name to the Maple Hill Langley Hospice in Langley BC.
