JAMES, Sandra LeeAge 69 of Goodlettsville, passed away on November 13, 2010. Survived by sons, Greg (Laura) James and Mark (Betsy) James; daughter, Valerie DeBoe; brother, Bill (Dorothy) Barton; sister, Prudy (Ray) Wood; and 8 grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Chapel at Rivergate. During her career as a nurse, she worked at Nashville Memorial Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She will be remembered for her years of dedication to the healthcare industry. She had a passion for mentoring transplant patients that was an invaluable gift to others, as she herself was a transplant survivor for 14 years. Her life was an inspiration to many, and she was greatly admired and loved by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life service will be held in her honor at Forest Lawn Chapel, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 with Pastor Jerry McAnulty and Pastor Chris Vanover officiating. Interment will later follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon, TN at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon. Those serving as Active Pallbearers will be family and friends. William Barton will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Vanderbilt University Transplant Center. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at
