SOUTHINGTON - Sandra (Triano) L. Smith, 64, of Southington, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Hartford Hospital.She was born in Southington on Jan. 16, 1949, the daughter of the late Joseph Triano Sr., and Mary (Ciccio) Triano. Sandra had worked for Advanced Communications. She enjoyed jewelry making, cooking, baking and making candy but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.She is survived by her children, David J. Smith, Thomas J. Smith and wife, Carrie, all of Southington,Steven A. Smith and wife, Nicole, of Meriden and Lisa M. Ellison and husband, Christopher, of Bristol; her cherished grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Alana M. Smith, Lilah May Ellison, Andrew J. Smith, Brayden and Jacob Ellison. She also leaves her brother, Joseph Triano Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Southington; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
