JOHNSON, Sandra Jean 56, of Brandon, went home to heaven Dec. 4, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. The Lord blessed her family with 21 months of precious time before calling her home. Sandra faced her battle with lung cancer with the same strength she lived her life. Sandra was born in Miami, Aug. 20, 1953. She was a LPN for 26 years, serving the elderly and served in the U.S. Army. She devoted most of her life engaged in helping others in all phases of their lives, and ensured that the gifts she was blessed with were shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Sandra was married 34 years to her beloved husband Frank R. Johnson Jr. II. She is survived by her son, Frank R. Johnson Jr. III; her daughter, Jennifer Lyn Johnson; her mother, Phyllis Ann Peak; brothers, Steven Russell Peak, Robert Morris Peak, David Wesley Peak; and sister, Sheryl Ann Peak. Sandra's service is being held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 2102 Bell Shoals Rd. in Brandon. Service will start at 11 am on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, and then she will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery 4900 54th Ave. N. St. Petersburg, after 3 pm, which will also have a ceremony.
