CASEY Sandra Jane Buschmann Casey, age 74, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Redding, beloved wife of Daniel Casey, passed away on October 1, 2010. In addition to her devoted husband, Daniel, she will be lovingly remembered by her family, including six children, Laura Horrigan, and her husband, Robert, of Roxbury Christine Baldwin, and her husband, Peter, of Exeter, NH, Daniel Casey, Jr., of Fairfield, J. Stephen Casey, and his wife, Rocio (Ro), of Fairfield, Robert Casey, of Bridgeport, Brad Casey, Santa Cruz, Calif.; 12 cherished grandchildren, Robert, Kevin, and Patrick Horrigan, Alexandra, Corinne, and Andrew Baldwin, Daniel Casey, III, Ryann, Suzanna, Holly, and Jack Casey, Marie Casey; four sisters, Joan Boyle, and her husband, Ed, of Oceanside NY, Judith Haggerty, and her husband, Ed, of Martinsville, NJ, Susan Wallace, and her husband, Ken, of Rockville Center NY, Helen Buschmann, of Northport NY; two brothers, Arthur Buschmann, and his wife, Sue, of Savannah, GA, Robert Buschmann, and his wife, Linda, of Seacliff, NY; many nieces and nephews. Born in Bell Harbor, NY to the late Arthur and Helen Thoma Buschmann, Sandra had been a resident of Rockville Center and Greenlawn, NY, Redding and Washington, before moving to Fort Pierce. A retired secretary for Pfizer Chemical, Sandra had a successful modeling career in the 1950's. Her greatest roles in life were that of a dedicated, loving wife and mother to her family, warm and caring sister and aunt, and steady friend to those she knew. Sandra was a gifted artist, enjoyed golfing with her family and friends, and had been a member of Redding Country Club. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8pm in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11am in St.Ann Church, 481 Brewster Street, in Bridgeport.
