SANDRA J. POLIS-WILLIAMS MUNSTER, IN Sandra J. Polis-Williams, age 49 passed away December 25, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph; sons: Brian and Brandon; her mother Janice (the late Leonard Alters); siblings: Patricia (Michael) McCrory, Bill Knight and Debi Dixon; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Polis. Visitation will be held Monday December 29, 2014 at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 4:30 pm Prayer Service. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Thomas More Church with a noon mass. Friends may visit in the church vestibule from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Father Mike Yadron officiating. Interment services will be private. Sandy was a graduate of Munster High School Class of 1983, was a graduate of Purdue University Calumet. Sandy worked as a nurse for over 25 years at various hospitals, most recently St. Catherine's hospital in East Chicago. Sandra was a member of St. Thomas More Church and she will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends. www.burnskish.com
