->SURRY - Sandra Fay Johnson (Doughty), 73, of Surry, Maine passed away peacefully on January 6, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 17, 1941 in Castine, Maine to Earl and Violet Johnson. She graduated from Bucksport High School and Eastern Maine General Hospital Nursing program in 1962. She proudly served in the United States Army Nurse Corps, honorably discharged in 1967. She was a devoted nurse and retired from EMMC after 25 years of service. She was a loving Nana and mother. She had a love for animals, crafts, gardening, Toddy Pond and most of all, her beloved dogsShe is survived by her 3 children: Charles Mark Doughty, of Brewer, ME; Karen Fay Clements, of Claremont, NH; and Laurel Tara Moody, of Surry, ME. Her beloved grandchildren: Kayle Fay Clements and her fiancé Nick Beal of South Portland, ME; Jessica Nicole (Moody) Rickard and her husband Bryan Rickard of Orland, ME; Jonathan Earl Clements, of Newburgh, ME; Joshua Steven Moody and his significant other Tessa of Surry, ME; Candace Marie Doughty, of Brewer, ME; and Charles Mark Doughty Jr., of Brewer, ME, a brother, Bruce Johnson of North Carolina, and a friend Lawrence T. Doughty of Brewer, ME. We will have a Celebration of Life on June 20th, 2015 at her favorite place, Toddy Pond, ME, all are welcome.
