TALLADEGA- Graveside services for Mrs. Sandra Carter, 57, of Talladega were held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Travis Mitchell officiated. Mrs. Carter passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center. She was born in Wynn, Arkansas, but grew up in Ocoee, Florida. She had been a resident of Talladega County for a number of years. She had previously been employed as a general manager at Walmart and had also been a trainer at AIDT in Lincoln. She had attended West Orange Community Church in Ocoee, Florida. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis D. Howell. She is survived by her husband, Jerie Carter, Jr.; her son, Jere Carter, both of Talladega; her mother, Hazel F. Howell of Ocoee, FL; granddaughter, Cheyenne Skye Carter, and four brothers, Wayne Howell, Rickey Howell, Danny Howell, and Mark Howell, all of Ocoee, Florida. Serving as pallbearers for Mrs. Carter were Jere Carter, Adam Harris, Chris Jackson, Nick Jordan, Tim Ploss and Karl Ploss. Clay County Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
