SUSAN M. HOLTON - WINOOSKI - Susan M. Holton, 41, died unexpectedly, Sept. 23, 2013, in Fletcher Allen Health Care. She was born on Aug. 25, 1972, in Burlington, daughter of Ronald and Betty (Terrien) Holton. Susan was a hairdresser. She volunteered at the Burlington Food Shelf, and was a caretaker for the sick and elderly of the community. No matter where Susan lived, she always planted a garden in the summer, and planted flowers at her Aunt Nancy's camp. Her greatest gift to her family was her daughter, Bri. Susan is survived by her daughter, Brianna Holton, and her mother, Betty Holton, both of Winooski; sister, Cindy Benoit of Colchester; nephew and nieces Cody, Ashley and Makayla; several aunts, uncles and cousins, to include a special aunt and uncle, Nancy Holowitz and her husband, Jack, of Springfield, Mass. She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Holton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski. Friends may call at the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 North Winooski Ave., Burlington, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
