MacDONALD, SISTER FLORENCE, SSJ, (previously known as Sister Mary Joannes) St Augustine, FL died early in the morning May 13, 2004 at St. Catherine Laboure Manor, Jacksonville, FL. She had joined the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1932 and served as a teacher throughout the State of Florida for most of her active life. Funeral services will be held 10AM Monday at the St. Joseph Convent Chapel, Reverend Father D. Terrance Morgan, Pastor of the Cathedral- Basilica officiating. A vigil will be held 7PM Sunday also at the Convent. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Sisters of St. Joseph Development Fund. This fund is used to support the retired sisters and the ministries of all the sisters. Craig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
