SCOTT CARTER It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle, on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Born in Toronto, Scott is survived by his wife Nancy (née Prophet) and daughters Jennifer and Courtney, mother Helena Fountain (Clare), mother-in-law Mae Prophet (late Lloyd), brothers John (Marie), Robert (Janet) and sister Cheryl (Paul) and step-sister Susan Prince (Mike) and brother-in-law Richard Prophet (Sheila) and sister-in-law Jane Wilson (Tim) and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Scott is predeceased by his father John. We would like to thank the numerous doctors and nurses who cared for Scott from Princess Margaret Hospital, the University Health Network and the Peterborough Regional Hospital with special thanks to Dr. Robert "Bob" Neville and Dr. Jennifer Gillis-Doyle and the compassionate and wonderful nursing staff on Peterborough Regional Health Centre D2. Visitation to be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough, ON from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 26th. A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre at 1 p.m. Friday, June 27th with a reception to follow.
