WOOD _ Ruth Vivian (nee Vernon) 1921 - 2007 Ruth (Nanny) Wood passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at the age of 86 years. She was very active with the Woodside Senior's Group. Ruth enjoyed the companionship with the many contacts made through the hall rental, golf league and club activities. She is survived by her daughter Diane Bruce of Airdrie; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne (Bonnie) Hartford of Toronto; stepsons, Jim (Sue) Wood of Kelowna and Bill (Diana) Wood of Carbon, AB; and her many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth has now gone to join her precious Johnny. A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a later date.
