Graveside services for Ruth Virginia Hale, age 74, of Reeds Spring, Mo., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2007, at the Yocum Pond Cemetery with Rev. Boots Campbell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson. She died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2007, in her home. She was born on December 5, 1932, at Reeds Spring, Missouri, the daughter of Sidney and Naomi Bowling Davis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith and longtime resident of Reeds Spring area. Survivors are her son, Tommy Hale and wife, Jennfer of Reeds Spring; four sisters, Alberta Jones of Kansas City, Mo., Delta Davis, Maggie Clevenger and Carolyn Davis, all of Reeds Spring, Mo.; five brothers, Clyde Davis of Kansas City, Vancel Davis and Sidney Davis, both of Reeds Spring, Lester Davis of Eudora, Mo., and Leon Davis of Oldfield; and two grandsons, Wesley Hale and Adam Hale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hale; her parents; three brothers; one sister; and two half brothers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
